Made in Samaniego (Rioja Alavesa) from hand-picked grapes, mainly Tempranillo with a small proportion of Garnacha and other varieties. The grapes are destemmed without crushing and pump-overs are done by gravity. After malolactic fermentation in steel, the wine spends 14 months in French and American oak barrels. Deep cherry in colour, with aromas of black and stewed fruit, spice and creamy notes; on the palate it is elegant and silky. Perfect with stews, vegetables, white meat, rice dishes and tapas.

Ideal with red meat, lamb, roasts, stews and mature cheeses.
