Salvano makes this Barbera from grapes grown mainly in Diano d’Alba, Guarene and Castagnito. It ferments in steel for 7-8 days at a controlled temperature, then ages for 8 to 12 months in Slavonian oak casks. Purplish ruby red, it offers a broad aroma of blackberry and cherry and a full, rounded palate with the freshness typical of the grape variety. Highly versatile: pasta, red and white meats and medium-aged cheeses.

Ideal with red meat, lamb, roasts, stews and mature cheeses.
