Made by Salvano, a family winery in Diano d’Alba, from Nebbiolo grown in the Barbaresco area. It is aged in wooden casks for at least 9 months. Bright ruby red evolving towards garnet, it has a delicate aroma with notes of violet and liquorice and a dry, velvety palate. We recommend opening it a couple of hours before serving at 18-20 °C. It pairs with roasts, game, Piedmontese specialities and mature or spicy cheeses.
