Illuminati is a family winery founded in 1890 in Controguerra, in the Colline Teramane of Abruzzo. Riparosso is its most emblematic red: 100% Montepulciano from vineyards in Controguerra, Corropoli and Torano Nuovo, at 200 to 270 metres. After a long maceration in steel, it rests for around 6 months in large 25 hl Slavonian oak casks. Round, enveloping and harmonious, with notes of ripe red fruit. Ideal with pasta with ragù, meat and cured meats.
