El Ancón Tinto Joven is a wine from Bodegas Insulares Tenerife, the winery of the grape growers of the Tacoronte-Acentejo area, in the north of the island. It is made from Listán Negro by carbonic maceration: whole bunches are placed in vats for around seven days before pressing. The result is a clean, bright cherry-red wine with plenty of red fruit aromas, balanced and persistent. Served at around 14 °C, it goes well with meat, poultry, cheeses and pulses.
